Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amβ2:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Tazza Kitchen Stone Creek Village at (919) 651-8281; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. We usually dine at the Columbia, SC location. Tonight we had the brick oven salmon and the mixed green and goat cheese salad. The brick oven salmon was absolutely to die for the sauce and the cauliflower, snap peas, mushrooms, and onions were all delicious and everything was so flavorful. The salad was surprisingly bland. I ordered extra dressing on the side with hopes to spruce it up a bit, but it didnβt do the trick. I have had other great salads here. I just donβt recommend this one that I got tonight.

I got some take out here about a week ago, and now I really want to try them in person. The food was excellent. I got the Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Grilled Chicken added to it. Honestly I didnβt even know half the ingredients, never heard of most of themβ¦ but my god this was a tasty dish. Highly recommend. I also got their Brick Oven Broccoli, which has a little spice to it and it was a great side to my main meal. I also got the Honey Harissa Bowl with Adobo Chicken. The coucous and dressing was like nothing Iβve ever had before. This place is awesome, highly recommend.

Ordered the white pizza. Tastes like soggy cardboard. Very dry breading with flavorless cheese and toppings. This was our first and last time eating Tazza. We held off for so long because the online photos of the food paint a bleak picture. Against my better judgement I decided to try it because of the high ratings. Very disappointed. Wasted money.

First time here and I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the crab cakes. Which are two crab cakes and no bread with house made sauces. Very good! The crab is blue lump crab and it was minimal filler. I enjoyed so much, I ate them both in one sitting. The side is fries & Coleslaw, but you can substitute them out. My friend ordered a burger which looked and she said tasted amazing! The fries were nothing to write home about, just average. I'm giving 3 stars on atmosphere because there was a table near us that had their dog. And this was not a service dog, just a little lap down on a dog bed on the floor. However, the decor was lovely. Bathrooms very clean! No complaints there. I personally don't prefer for animals to be inside a restaurant especially when they are not service animals. I also would be more okay with this if we were sitting outside (which that was an option) but we were not outside.

2.5/5 This place was okayβ¦ most likely wouldnβt choose to dine here myself. We had a 7:45 reservation and got there at 7:48 but didnβt get seated until about 8:25 (40 minutes of waiting with reservation). You would think they didnβt have a grace period but their policy states that they will hold your table for 15 minutes. They were very busy which I understand but why allow reservations if you arenβt organized enough to honor them. The food was good. Itβs not as good as the reviews make it out to be but itβs not bad at all and I enjoyed my meal. My friend and I ordered the meatballs and the Caesar salad for appetizers. Caesar salad 5βοΈ meatballs were 3βοΈ. For our main, I ordered the brick oven salmon 3βοΈ and my friend had the white pizza with fries 3βοΈ. Points taken off because the rice had crunchy bits that were not expected and the salmon needed salt. The drinks were pretty good.
